Welcome to EDTA

Welcome to the Education in Dance and Theatre Arts website.

The association for EDTA, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to the promotion of Dance and Theatre Arts in this country. It is uniquely Australian, based in Australia to bring to young children and adults a training system in which all Theatre Arts can be combined and studied.

The ambitions of this association are to promote ideas in education in Dance, Drama and Theatre Arts and maintain the highest possible standard, supply demonstrations to members of any syllabus or technique associated with EDTA examination system. EDTA examinations are designed for the very young student through to advanced levels. The training incorporates precision and fine technique with the artistic finish demanded by professionals.

The high standard we wish for EDTA is achieved by the quality of teachers we have in our membership. The teaching profession is a very valued one and with the help of each other we keep the standards of EDTA high.
