E X A M I N A T I O N S

EDTA Examinations are designed for the very young student through to advanced levels. The training incorporates precision and fine technique with the artistic finish demanded by professionals.

Graded Examinations from beginners to major levels, Graduations and Teaching qualifications are available in all Facets. Students receive a Certificate, Report and Medal and have the opportunity to apply for an “Award of Excellence” when three Honours or Distinction grades are achieved.

Examination grades range from Pass to Distinction & Assessment grades from C to A+.

- Novice
- Introductory - Grades 1 to 4
- Pre-Elementary
- Elementary
- Associate Technique
- Associate Diploma (Assistant Teacher qualifications)
- Members Technique
- Members Diploma (full Teaching qualifications)
- Licentiate (Ballet only) in all facets


 

In Associate & Members Classical Ballet Technique students have the option to complete the grades as either a Student or a Student Teacher.




TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching qualifications are available in all styles; EDTA teachers must have attained at least Members Technique & Diploma level to be a qualified teacher.

EDTA Inc will process, credit and transfer achievements from other Associations (on approval) for teachers to become an EDTA Member & continue with the EDTA Board of Examinations. The Association provides continuing opportunities for Teachers through refresher courses and seminars.
