EDTA’s ideals are to raise the quality of teaching in dance and theatre arts. This requires a consistent attitude of self-improvement and professional integrity on the part of each member teacher.

Composed of dance and drama teachers, the committee operates to promote, protect and advance the EDTA status and interests of dance and theatre arts generally, and encourage, foster, develop and promote honorable practice.

•   Encourage research and development in dance and theatre arts to assist teachers
    with technical and further education.
