All EDTA Academies must be 2km in Urban areas and 5km in Rural areas from the next EDTA teacher.

This is a very ethical procedure and protects each individual member.​

EDTA FULL DANCE MEMBER​
A Teacher applying for this Membership must show evidence of Classical Ballet training to a teaching level including reports and certificates. Also copy of reports and certificates for Tap or Jazz examinations successfully completed (if applicable).

A statement notifying of all Dance subjects taught in the Academy should be included. After application is accepted and satisfied the EDTA committee, the new member in this category is entitled to teach and enter students for Examinations in all EDTA Dance Subjects.​


EDTA FULL DANCE MEMBER PROVISIONAL​
​This Membership is available to a teacher who is actively under the banner of EDTA and participating in the Examination system to gain their qualifications, also training and entering their students for EDTA examinations.    ​


EDTA DUAL DANCE AND SPEECH & DRAMA MEMBERSHIP​
Combined EDTA Dance and Speech & Drama Membership.​


EDTA SPEECH & DRAMA MEMBERSHIP​
A Membership for Teachers of Drama only.​


EDTA DUAL GILBERT AND DRAMA MEMBER​
Combined Gilbert and EDTA Drama Membership.​


EDTA ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP​
A student who has completed Associate Ballet Technique and Diploma.​


EDTA STUDENT TEACHER​
A student may join as a Student Teacher  after their Elementary Ballet examination.​


EDTA AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP​
Is a person interested in the Arts.
